Objective:

3). Handed out Comparative Mythology packets.

Homework:

Read Hebrew/Christian Creation Myth. Complete Odyssey Reflective Quote. Prepare "Lady or the Tiger" Part 2 Vocabulary.

English 1 CP (Period 7)

Objective:

To begin to compare and contrast different creation myths.

In class:

1). Read Greek Creation Myth and Hebrew/Christian Creation Myth.

2). Reviewed the key elements of each of the myths.

3). Began comparing the important elements of each of the myths.

Homework:

Prepare "Lady or the Tiger" Part 2 Vocabulary. Complete Odyssey Reflective Quote.

English 3 CP (Periods 1 & 5)

Objective:

To successfully apply the concept of an anti-hero to a series of celebrities.

In class:

1). Listed all of Chance's heroic traits. Discussed whether or not they fit the classic hero mold.

2). Reviewed different hero types. Added the definition of an anti-hero.

3). Completed Identify the Hero Worksheet.

4). Discussed and categorized the different celebrities according to which type of hero they are.

Homework:

Research Paper due Monday, 3/3/08. Finish reading Being There. Complete Being There Discussion Questions by Friday. Vocabulary Quiz #11 on Friday.
