English 1 CP (Period 7)

Objective:

To create effective persuasive speeches.

In class:

1). Working independently, students created effective persuasive speeches. They used the speaking rubric to guide them as well as any other means that would be helpful to them.

Homework:

Practice speech. "Lady or the Tiger" Part 2 Vocabulary Quiz on Thursday 3/20.

English 3 CP (Periods 1 & 5)

Objective:

To complete the assessment on Being There and The Inferno.

In class:

1). Completed test on Being There/The Inferno.

2). Returned Being There books following the test.

Homework:

Prepare Vocabulary List #12 for quiz on Thursday, 3/20.
