Objective:

To finish comparing and contrasting myths about the afterlife.

In class:

1). Worked independently to create a list of similarities between the myths.

2). Reviewed the similarities as an entire class.

Homework:

Prepare for Comparative Mythology Test, Wednesday, 3/12.

English 3 CP (Periods 1 & 5)

Objective:

To identify the literal meaning of the first twelve cantos of The Inferno.

In class:

1). Review of Canto I.

2). Whole class reading of Cantos II-XII of The Inferno.

3). Discussion of what is literally happening in the poem (Dante's trip through Hell).

Homework:

Prepare SAT Vocabulary List #12.
