To finish reviewing the key themes from The Odyssey.

2). Reviewed The Odyssey Discussion Questions.

3). Compared the odysseys of modern-day heroes to that of Odysseus.

Prepare for Odyssey Test, Friday, 2/22.

Objective:

To compare and contrast the film version of The Odyssey with the textual version.

In class:

1). Watched the ending of The Odyssey.

2). Discussed the film versus the text.

3). Completed a last minute review for the test.

4). Returned graded papers.

Objective:

To identify modern day celebrities and what they have accomplished.

In class:

1). Handed out magazines from the last few years.

2). Created collages of famous people, with the students working in groups.
