1). Completed The Odyssey Discussion Question worksheets working alone.
2). Reviewed Discussion Question Worksheets with a partner.
3). Looked up definitions for "Lady or the Tiger" vocabulary words.
Homework:
Prepare for test on The Odyssey.
English 3 CP (Periods 1 & 5)
Objective:
To apply opinions about "ignorance is bliss" to the first two chapters of Being There.
In class:
1). Completed journal entry: An old saying claims that ignorance is bliss. Is this true? Are we happier if we know less? Or, is it best to become more knowledgeable?
2). Read first two chapters of Being There.
Homework:
Finish Being There, chapters 1 & 2. Research rough draft, due Wednesday 2/20. Vocabulary Quiz #10, Friday 2/15/.
